I have young kids, and it's changed what I want a career to add up to. Accenture gave me thirteen years of scale — GTM motions worth hundreds of millions, delivery discipline, alliance relationships — but it didn't give me a mission I'd want to explain to my kids in ten years. I'm drawn to organizations working on safer energy, safer financial systems, and safer health outcomes because the work is the same GTM and operationalization discipline I already have, aimed at something I actually want more of in the world.
